1. Who we are

SpaceArt ("we", "us") is an AI image and video app made by Don Bytyqi, an independent developer. Questions about privacy? Email me@donbytyqi.com.

2. Information we collect

• Account: an anonymous account ID created when you first open the app. If you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive an identifier from that provider and, if you share it, your name and email address. With Sign in with Apple you can hide your email.
• Profile: your username and profile photo, if you add one.
• Your content: prompts you write, photos you upload to edit, cartoonify or animate, and the images and videos you create. If you publish to Explore, also your posts, comments, likes and follows.
• Purchases: Apple processes all payments. We receive the transaction details Apple provides (product, date, transaction ID, subscription status) to give you your credits or Pro plan. We never see your card details.
• Device and app data: a push notification token (if you allow notifications), an Apple App Attest / DeviceCheck token to protect the service from abuse, and basic usage and diagnostics data (for example, which features are used and error reports).
• Usage records: how many credits you use, which AI models run, and limits we apply to prevent abuse.

3. How we use it

• To create your images and videos and save them to your gallery.
• To run your account, credits and subscription, and to restore purchases.
• To show your published posts in Explore and power likes, comments, follows and challenges.
• To keep SpaceArt safe: automated checks on public text (posts, comments, usernames), user reports, rate limits and fraud prevention.
• To send notifications you asked for, like "your video is ready".
• To fix bugs and improve the app.

We do not sell your personal information and we do not use it for advertising.

4. AI processing

To generate content, your prompts and any photo you upload are sent to Google's Gemini API (the Nano Banana image models and Veo video models) through our servers. Google processes this data to return the result under its API terms for paid services, which do not allow using it to train Google's models. Prompts that will be shown publicly are also checked by a Gemini model for safety.

5. Who we share it with

• Google Firebase / Google Cloud hosts our servers, database and file storage.
• Google Gemini API generates content, as described above.
• Apple handles sign-in, payments and push notifications.
• Google handles Sign in with Google, if you use it.
• Other users see only what you publish: your username, profile photo, published creations, prompts, comments and public counts.
• Authorities, if required by law or to protect people's safety.

6. Public content

Nothing you create is public unless you publish it (or turn on Auto-publish). Published posts can be seen, liked, remixed and commented on by other users. You can remove a post at any time. Photos of people made with Cartoon Effects can't be published.

7. How long we keep it

We keep your data while your account exists. Deleting a creation removes it and its files. Deleting your account removes your profile, gallery, posts, comments, likes, follows and notifications. We keep minimal purchase records (transaction IDs and amounts) as needed for accounting, refunds and fraud prevention.

8. Your choices and rights

• Delete your account in the app: Profile → Delete account. This is permanent.
• Edit your username and photo in Profile, and remove any post or creation.
• Notifications can be turned off in iOS Settings.
• Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your data, or object to processing. Email us and we'll help.

9. Children

SpaceArt is not intended for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we'll delete it.

10. Security

Data is encrypted in transit, access to your private data is restricted to your account, and all purchases are verified with Apple. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.

11. International transfers

Our service providers may process data in the United States and other countries. Where required, transfers are covered by appropriate safeguards offered by those providers.

12. Changes

We'll update this page when our practices change and note the date at the top. Significant changes will also be announced in the app.
